JEFF BUCK (QuantiSense), A.J. CROCE (Seedling Records) & ELISHA TROPPER (Cambridge Security Seals)

In the latest installment of Bone Up on Business, Joyce Bone spent some one-on-one time with three CEOs! Jeff Buck (co-founder & CEO of QuantiSense), A.J. Croce (CEO of Seedling Records & son of the late Jim Croce) & Elisha Tropper (President & CEO of Cambridge Security Seals).

Jeff Buck is the CEO and co-founder of QuantiSense. He has a wide range of experience in business intelligence, project implementation, web technologies, and entrepreneurship.  Jeff earned his B.A. and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering at Dartmouth College. While attending Dartmouth, he founded Dartmouth Formula Racing, an organization that builds formula style racecars for competition.  Prior to starting QuantiSense, Jeff founded dotVantage, a company focused on creating analytical applications that enabled e-Commerce companies and other technology providers to understand customer behavior on the web. Jeff's background also includes extensive experience in building Business Intelligence applications for retail companies such as American Stores, Disney, and J. Crew.

 

Adrian James “A.J.” Croce is the son of legendary singer/songwriter Jim Croce. Croce began performing professionally at age 12 and got his first break at 18 when B.B. King heard him play and asked him to join him on tour as a support act. To this date A.J. Croce has recorded 7 albums, all of them reaching the charts in different categories. His 7th studio CD “Cage Of Muses” was released in 2009 and garnered 4 stars in Rolling Stone among countless other positive reviews. A.J. Croce also runs two record labels, his own Seedling Records as well as the new family owned Croce Music Group. A.J. also runs Croce Publishing. 2012 welcomes the release of “Further On” Croce’s second retrospective and follow up to “Early On”. It features the music recorded over the last 10 years. In the fall of 2012 A.J. will begin recording his next studio album titled “Frets and Struts” which will be released in early 2013. 
 
Elisha Tropper is President and CEO of Cambridge Security Seals, a privately held manufacturer in New York.  Previously, Elisha founded a New York-based strategic advisory firm, T3 Associates, and served as president of both Prestige Label Company and Cambridge Resources.  Earlier in his career, Elisha was a senior consultant at Price Waterhouse's strategy consulting practice.
